Need stock brake/hub measurements

I'm trying to quantify the extra width the Baer Brakes added to the front track of my car. Can someone help out and measure the hub/rotor face to spindle measurements for me? If there is an easier or more effective distance to measure I can go back and measure on my car too. Thanks.

Searching other threads it looks like the .3" rotor hat is where the added track comes from.

That is the case for most brake kits. I imagine that hub is from Baer? I assume they make their hubs the same offset as stock, but can't say for sure. Your measurement is not ideal, as the measurement depends on how much meat is below the inner bearing. A better measurement would be the distance from the spindle pin end to the hub surface. I can get you a measurement once you have measured yours.

Correct, the hub is provided by Baer. I'll take another measurement tonight. Thanks for the feedback.

It looks like the cotter pin is touching the dust cap? And that is causing your metal shavings.

I assume you installed the cotter pin. I would re-install with the cotter wrapped around the nut instead of over it to avoid this issue. I would also replace the bearings.

I am curious what prompted all of this investigating?

This is my second 3rd gen with these wheels and the front track looks wider than the last car. I didn't think I'd notice 2/10ths...

The cotter pin was Baer's handy work. The kit comes preassembled on a modified spindle.
