gotta love stupid POs

So, I finally get around to doing that popular proportioning valve mod. Yank off the rear tires (first time tires have been off since I've owned it). And notice something is not right. On the driver's side the brake caliper is on the rear of the brake, but on the the passenger side the caliper is on the front.. Is that even possible?? Popped open the master cylinder, very low, and it looks like old caramel syrup.

Don't ask me if that proportioning valve thing actually works because I couldn't tell you. When I went to bleed the rear brakes, nothing but air. Been driving around with just front bakes for the past 3 months. That right there makes it feel 800 times better. I have no comparison between the springs.

Standard position until 89+ when both calipers went to the rear.

It is a *****&*&^ Hack job. Hackery is not necessary, get it back to how it is suppose to be as best as you can.
