Great site,I'm from Canada I stumbled across a 86 trans am in my little town here and she's in supreme condition it came from Iowa I'm thinking of purchasing it but I can't find a site were I can compare prices.Any help would be great.It has about 120 000 miles on it black with gold stripe on bottom,t-roof,5.0 engine 305,firebird emblum still intacked on hood beautiful looking car.Thanks

I'm about two hours north of Sudbury a little town called Gogama.A women from the states came up to run a rest stop along hwy 144 a few years back and her son past away.She struck a deal with this guy in town for the car, no money involved some kind of compensation.They went down to the states and pick it up.He want's $9000.00 for it I'm a little
green at purchasing a older sports car but I'm not stupid.

 

Seems overpriced. If you can't find em up where you are, just try and find one around here. $5000 can usually get you a pretty nice one.

Judging by the "fading" above the gold rocker panel, this could very well be the original paint. As for it being original - are you worried that it isn't a real Trans Am? There were over 40,000 Trans Ams made in 85.

 

i think they turned thier heads on different generations. i bought a sweat shirt that has a bird on it and writing that says trans am in second gen writing, and the bird head is facing right, and on my 87 gta thier facing left

 

120,000 miles or did you convert it to km's??? If that 120,000 is infact miles, then it is way over priced!! That is 192,000 km's. Even if the car is absolutely spotless and all original, with that kind of milage it is only worth around $4 - 5000 tops! If that even...

 

not worth 9 grand, , try 4-5 grand , i picked up a 88 gta for 3000 grand, put 2 grand to get it saftied ,n now 3 grand for a new paint job.considering the previous owner had it in storage for 5 years,i pretty much took it from him he needed the money real bad,lol it's great when u can get a good deal,even though i put afew bucks into it
