How about never made? No such thing as a stock 350 TPI & a 5 speed - especially a convertible. Convertibles never got a 350 either.

Care to give the Vin# and read the SPF codes on either the top of your console or the lid on the Glove Box in the back?

WOW talk about stating the obvious!!

The ad never said the car was stock...

The 350 Tpi was trasplanted in 1999 and put infront of a stock T5

It still makes is a 350 TPI, 5 Speed, Convertible...and more rare than a honda civic with a transplanted integra Vtec Engine.

Using the phrase, "very rare" makes it seem like it's a factory installed setup. Rare is usually only associated with factory options.

EXACTLY as stated by Iroc22, using words like "***RARE***, Super Rare and Very Rare" (as you did within your ad); you are implying a stock vehicle with very limited production. Your car is NOT a limited production vehicle but a car that had the 305 swapped out for a 350 - the most COMMON swap done on a Thirdgen.

Your ad is deceptive by using the word rare. As you have never posted on TGO except to place this ad, I am more concerned that our existing members are aware of the true nature of your car.

Have a good day.

It clearly states that it was"transplanted", do you need a dictionary or something to look up the word?
I understood it just fine, car sounds great, good luck.

Ooh, the rare NOS option. Not bad.

But I know guys with even more rare models - a couple have rare superchargers, others with a rare 434c.i. and one even has a rare 6 speed. Ooops, they aren't rare. They're all MODIFIED!

That was my concern.

You don't know how many times I've come across some young person who just graduated and proudly tell me about the 3rd Gen F-body with a 350 TPI & a 5speed they just purchased...and I have to "pop their balloon" and explain that there never was a stock 350 TPI with a 5speed 3rd Gen produced.

They usually argue like hell trying convince me they have the real deal and I generally have teach them about the VIN# and the SPID sticker.

(And yes, I am aware there were a few SLP "Firehawks" with a 350TPI/6speeds made...but those are not regular production either).
