Running Wires
How did everyone here run their power wires and rca's from the front of the car to the back?..im curious on how to get em past the door's. Obviously go thru the firewall..under the plastic thingy by the doors..but then what?

ok..well if u got it behind the trim pannels (i assume by trim pannels u mean the ones that hide the 6x9's next to the back seat..how dotehy come off?
lol, naw man.. Mine are running THROUGH the door jams, just go through the VERY top at the top of your fender where it meets the door, then run it down the side panel, under the FISHER thingies, then behind the rear seat and up we go on top of the tank

Through the door jamb isn't the greatest idea. I've seen many cars get toasted because of that. If you have power options, take the right front wheel off and pull the well lining down. Run the power wire through there (inside the fender) to the door. Take a knife and cut a slit into the boot that has all the power window and lock wires running through it. Push the power wire into the boot and behind the passenger kick panel and then under the trim pieces to the back of the car. Run the RCA wires on the other side of the car. Works like a charm.

If you have a free day, I would remove the passenger side seat and the rear seat. Run the power wire through the firewall, then run all wires underneath the carpet(use wire loom). This provides a great professional look with no wires sticking out and no need to worry about snagging them with anything and cutting them.
If you want, then either run them under the carpet to the rear trim and out to your amps, or, run them under the carpet all of the way and cut a small slit in the carpet where you want to mount all of your amps, speakers, fuse blocks, etc. and the wires are hidden all of the way.

Here's how I did it:
POWER WIRE
First, take off the passenger side kick panel. Behind it, there should be a bunch of wires running through a large rubber boot in the sheetmetal. These run out to the inside of the fender and eventually to the engine compartment. I drilled a hole next to this rubber boot (not TOO close! don't damage the wires), making sure there wasn't anything to damage on the inside of the fender on the other side. I started with 3/8" bit and widened it to 1/2", which should be plenty for 8 gauge and maybe 6. It's mostly trial and error. Stick a grommet in there (make sure you drilled enough room for that, too) and you've got the perfect place to get your power wire into the cabin. Run the wire from your battery to the inside of the passenger side fender (there's an opening in the engine compartment by the hood's hinge), and then through the hole you drilled. After that, I took off the plastic piece on the floor of the doorwell and ran the wire through that, under the carpet, and then out through the carpet where the amps are mounted. Use wire looms through the entire length! You don't want to end up with torn wires, shorting problems, or in the worst case, a fire. Make sure there's a fuse on the wire as close to the battery as possible.
RCAs:
These aren't hard and don't require drilling, just some time with a screwdriver and allen keys (for those damn Torx screws, I've found that allen keys work the best and won't strip them). Basically, I ran the RCAs through the center console and then through the carpet until they reached the amp. Take off the faceplate for the radio/air control by removing four torx screws. Take off the shifter plate (mine's an automatic; you may want to look yours up if it's standard) with six torx screws. Then take off the whole top of the center console with 6 hex bolts (I don't remember what sizes offhand, but there are two different sizes). Run the wires from the headunit to the back of the console, slit the carpet and run them through to the back (or wherever you need them). Reassemble everything and you're set.
This works perfect for me because my amps are where my back seats used to be, so there may be better ways to get to the trunk if that's where you're headed. Just remember one thing: keep the power wires as far away as possible from the RCAs and speaker wires. It'll cause plenty of interference.
Good luck!

cayse..your way si the way id' do it..the proper way w/out mutilating the car..thanx for the tips..now i know where the firewall holes are and some options to run the wires..just outta curiousity what size wire did you run?..how much room is there under that plastic piece by the doors?..enough for 4 gauge?
If you take off that plastic piece and lift up the carpet, you'll already see some wire loom running there; it's held on to the body with plastic clips. You won't be running it between the plastic and metal, but underneath the carpet along these other wires. You could easily fit 0 gauge wire in there if need be. Plenty of room.
