Infinity Kappa

Any of you guys out there running Infinity Kappas? Are they worth the price? I am thinking about upgrading to enclosed 6x9s in back, and 6 1/2 inch components and corresponding tweeters up front, with about 75W RMS to all four channels. I've heard 'em in a Cutlass Supreme, and they sound awesome there, so how about in thirdgens? I should be able to get them wholesale, so if so, this is kind of a moot point, and I'll get 'em anyways. BTW, this is going to be a project car to promote my buddy's and mine new business (mobile audio), so I'm really striving for clean (as well as loud) sound.

Thanks for the info - Harry.

I have the older Infinity Kappa series 6x9s, the green ones and they are freakin fabulous. I'm sure if you are getting the new CMMD ones they should be even better.

In my opinion infinity is some of the best speakers you can get. There are a couple that are a tad better at 3x the price though. :-) I personally don't think you can beat them.

Infinity Kappa's are great speakers........i have a set of 6x9's and they sound better then my kenwood's did......

They are a little pricey though.....all you need to do is find someone in desperate need of money and offer them $50, that's what i did.......

I have a pair of the green Kappa 10" DVC subs, and they are really clean; they reproduce a good range of sub-bass frequencies in the right box, and I'm sure can get nice and loud in a bandpass. In my setup, you don't hear me coming down the street, but in the car it feels like your ears are going to pop. I love em
