You'll have to post some specs on the subs you want. I think you would be alot happier w/ 3 10"s. Behind the well, would be the perfect spot for 3 10" Sony Xplod subs. They are required by Sony to have .65 cu. ft sealed per sub. And it's LOUD if powered right. Have seen a guy crack his back window with that setup and a Audiobahn amp.

Are you wanting sealed or ported? Three seperate chambers or one large?

only problem with the box not having individual chambers is if one of the speakers comes disconnected itll still look like its hitting due to the other two moving the air.....other than that its a better bet to have it open and not chambered if you build your own, ...you could end up with like 1.0 cubic feet in one and .70 in another

When I was a newbie @ Car Audio, I had an 800 Watt Legacy and 2 Orion 8"s it moved my mirrors, but it sounded alright. The box was not chambered, and was sealed. I only paid $15 for 2 new subs and the amp.

i have 2 JL 12w0's in my 89 rs and i made the box myself. it came out alright but they arent hitting as hard as they should because i think my box wasnt totally put together right....there was a lot of belt sanding involved i was thinking about making another one out of fiberglass though

definately go with 3 JL 10s - Just make sure you get an amp to really work those suckers - If I get out to my car today, Ill try to get some dimensions for ya (although its 25 degrees right now so.. we'll see) I don't know how involved your gonna get but if you go with JLs have seperate chambers - just make sure to measure and remeasure to get it right. Heres a couple pics, just for ideas sake:

I love my Precision power amp - it has the "QBass" option which lets you control the subs remotely by a little **** - really nice for people like me who listen to all kinds of music! Good luck!

Whats the specs on that Precision Power amp Roxie? Its a slick lookin amp . How much that cost? I'm looking at an Audiobahn A1300HCQ, but if that amp pushes the same and is a little cheaper, I might go with that.

the chrome amps were limited edition - good luck finding them! The amp is RATED at 800Wx1 @ 2 ohms but it kicks the crap out of that really. there is one on ebay right now, it doesn't say if it is a chrome one or not, starts at $600 with reserve not met.
Heres the link - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=1940158051 The newer style amps can be seen at precisions website, it appears they arent making the PC1800 anymore.. If you have a little extra money and your subs can handle it (and you can find one) go for it - I love the Qbass option added on (about $50) then you can control the bass remotely. I havent had any problems with either of my precision amps, and they have been in and out of a few different setups. That alone was worth extra cash to me! I dont know a whole lot about audiobahn, I decided a long time ago that I had to stop reading the magazines cuz I kept buying too much stuff so I can't say anything bad about them, I just know I have never had a problem with the Precision Power. Hope that helped..
