Since it's just a flat plastic plate it should be cheaper and easier to make one yourself.

All the 1LEs ive ever seen have had a raidio in them, no tape deck. But I dont think a plastic cover would be that hard to make.

Many people think the 1LE was a totally optionless car... not true at all! I have seen most every option on one, at one time or another, except AC. Radios, power windows, etc... even a T-top once!! You could order the 1LE package, then choose options.

true but once u start addin options that are not stock on 1LE cars then it makes it another z28 with out a/c and upgraded brakes and alumin. driveshaft and bunch of other special options.

I saw a Camaro (don't think it was a 1LE) that a guy had a factory looking plate over the radio spot. Said all he did was go to a wrecking yard and look for a black plastic passenger side dash panel (above were the glovebox should be).

All he did was cut a pice out of that to fit... If i didn't know better at the time, I woulda thought it was a factory peice. Looked REALLY factory because of what he made it with.
