Car: 85 firebird
Engine: Pos 2.8 pulled and replaced with a 350 tpi motor converted to carb.
Transmission: 700r4, vette servo, shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.
the output is to hookup another amp, run a rca patch from that amp to another.

depends on alot, like alt size, main power wire size etc. How many amps do you need?

Unless your gonna buy those amps from a friend for dirt cheap i'd go with a diff brand. Sony amps dont put out nearly what they say they do. If you really want a good system with three amps then id save up my money and do it right once. Alot of us car audio people have spent money on cheap stuff once in our lives that we wish we didnt.

Two 1000 watt (true wattage not sony wattage) amps and a 600 watt amp? Id upgrade the under hood wires and get a ho alt.
Good luck with it..
