your amp puts out 400wrms @4ohms mono so you will want something that you can wire to that impedence.

there are a lot of people in the same boat as you for buying subs. You need something that works in a small box with a good mix of SPL/SQ and works well with minimal power.

these will all work for you:
JL w3s
alpine type rs
infinity perfects
1 adire shiva (only available in 8 ohm DVC)
kicker L5s (i think the L7 would work better with more power)
Elemental Designs e12Kx
Digital Designs 2500 series

if it were me i would go with either the adire sub, ED, or DD for two reasons: being unique (not many people around will have these brands), and it may deter thieves from stealing your setup if they've never heard of it

my vote! Price cant be beat. Whats it like $125?
not the best as far as looks but who cares!
A VERY good sub. wire it for a 4 ohm load.

Also ED has the k line, they have a 12 for $85 if im correct.

Im making a fiberglass box for my car. Im thinking of a shiva.
1. It doesnt need 1000's of watts to sound good so the two amps i have now can stay. (they are 400 rms(component amp)( and 600 rms bridged, used for sub)

2. Doesnt cost hundreds and sounds very good.

600 watts will be plenty for a shiva...just make sure you have a subsonic filter on it so it doesnt bottom out. My tempest finally blew after about 10 months or hard abuse with 400 watts in huge low tuned boxes. It blew as i was playing a 20 hz test tone
