First of all, don't ever screw an amp to the floor there. Your gas tank is RIGHT under that metal panel that you've got the amp screwed to. Even if for some reason you didn't manage to puncture the gas tank with the screws (good thing you didn't make a spark!), if you get into an accident, those screws can cause the gas tank to tear or explode. GET RID OF THEM.
You can kill 2 birds with one stone here. What I would do if I had your setup would be to make another panel that sits over the sub box and the amp area. Have a section cut out that's the same shape as the amp, and cut the area out around the woofers. This will make the amp and subs look flush mounted, and it'll keep the amp in place without needing to screw it to the trunk floor. Then you can get some carpet and cover that panel, and voila! Flush mounted, custom looking setup.

I agree with Jim. In fact you could always cut out the top piece (the piece the same size as the amp) from Plexiglass. Looks like your car is red? Paint the plexiglass red- but paint the bottom of the plexiglass- the side that would face the floor. That would leave the "exposed" side unpainted- and it should add a "mirror finish" to the red paint.
Or get rid of one sub, bridge the amp so it just powers one sub, and flush-mount the amp in the box where the 2nd sub was.

just build a platform that is the demensions of the space left over and mount the amp on top of it drilling two, possibly 3 holes for your wires to run underneath it. no wires seen.
i did that with my system, but then again i have two amps mounted, and not just one. it may not look quite right with only one. never know. up to you, hope ya like whateer ya do though
