I just got an 6800 head unit from pioneer and I think it's great. Does anyone have any experience with unit? Replies appreciated.

I just put the 4800 in my wifes suburban. Other than the front mounted aux connector some extra eq features and the display, they are very similar. I like mine. Let you know more as I get it tuned in her SUV. I do like the crossover features.

I have that headunit in my truck. It has a nice display, it would be kind of cool if you could put your own movies and crap on it though. I normally just leave the car race on and whoever gets in is impressed by it, so whatever. Hows it look in your camaro?

I just set it to display the Artist and song title at the same time.

As for it being too bright, I've heard the opposite complaint about most other units not being visable in the daylight.

I ran the 6800 last summer. Pretty nice deck! I also agree having some better movies on it would be nice, but what can ya do!

I loved having all the RCA outs, Made it very easy to tune everything.

Definately not the best deck out, but for the price range its gotta b one of the best IMO
