Show a pic. Is it for a 3rd gen or a 4th gen?

Re: BOSE SUB ENCLOSURE

It may fit in place of the locking cargo cover in the hatch area.

If it's small it will fit in place of the kick panel.

Re: BOSE SUB ENCLOSURE

Doing a quick GreedBay scan shows that there haven't been any completed listings in the past week for "Bose Camaro" that would fit an 87. Can't do a detailed search though, due to the nature of completed listings.

Re: BOSE SUB ENCLOSURE

thats for a 4th gen f-body. it says its for a 1995 in the auction.
and, in the 4th gen, it would be located in the left rear "cubbyhole" behind the fuel door area in the trunk. this unit isnt the sub, but a full range ported enclosure. being a '95, it contains the amplifier for the subwoofers located in the rear passenger's sail panels. the '93-94 bose cars had no subwoofers.

Re: BOSE SUB ENCLOSURE

ahhh so he didn't know what he was talking about when he told me it was a sub and would fit a 3rd gen Camaro, so i would need the speakers from behind the sail panels to go with it then? I have no speakers at all in my sail panels, the cars never had them fitted. I shall get onto him and tell him.
Thank you for that info

Re: BOSE SUB ENCLOSURE

it will be pretty difficult to make this work. you will need a bose radio, all the wiring harnesses out of a 4th gen car (that has to do with the bose stereo), all the speakers, and the amplifiers in the doors.
you cannot just hook it up to a standard radio and make it work right. the bose system works off of different signals, and the speakers are all 2 ohms instead of the standard 4 ohms. i would go a different route altogether.
