I love the L5s I had 4 in 2002 Escalade with 2 kicker 1000.1 amps and wow did they slam... I love them....

Depending on where you are located at I have a nice lil connection on Kicker car audio......

Re: solobaric l5

If you're not dead set on Kicker I would recommend looking elsewhere for a subwoofer. FI, Resonant Engineering, Image Dynamics, JL, Sound Splinter, there's alot out there at that price point that will sound better and outlast one of the square solo's.

Re: solobaric l5

ive smoked a few l 5. get the l7 if you can. they arent that much heavier and seem to hold up better

FI, RE, AB, DD,JL, lol these are really good brands for woofers and they all make some that arent wallet smashers

to see what people compete with and what holds up well, and to see some excursion videos, go to termpro.com. this is where all the usac and old iasca competitiors go to share what works and what doesnt. ive learned volumes from these guys

Re: solobaric l5

i have kicker pieces in my show car which i really like, jl would be choice though. there are other options but truthfully too save money where you can as it's all pretty similar unless your an audiophile and then you'd already know what to get.
