1.-Thats a line out converter....not a line in.... sound comes out from those rca's..u cant send sound in
2.-the 2nd picture is a 3.5mm splitter..U'd need a 3.5 to RCA adapter

Re: Will this work?

Well all I need is some type of adapter that would go into the back of the radio and the wiring harness of the radio and then a cable to plug into my Zune.

So that would work?

Would it just cut to the Zune when the radio was off and the Zune was on, and vice versa?

Re: Will this work?

Ok I looked it up and while u cant hardwire the line in....u can get a FM modulator...(not a FM transmitter) while it might be possible to solder an aux in into the board of ur radio.....this thing plugs into ur factory unit's antenna and gives u better quality than a fm transmitter:

Ok so I get that, how do I install it exactly?

And then once thats in, all I have to do is hook my Zune up and I'll be good to go?

Re: Will this work?

the way I see it.....you install the yellow wire to hot...the red to ignition....ground to ground....antenna plug to the antena opening in the back lol, then all you'd need is a 3.5mm to rca cable.

Re: Will this work?

What do you mean yellow to hot and red to ignition? I know what a ground is, and the antenna is pretty simple, but more than that and I don't know, haha.

Re: Will this work?

Yellow would have to go to a 12 v constant should be orange on the cars harness and red would go to the yellow wire on the cars harness for ignition

this link may help you it sure helped me when I had to wire my stereo up to a hack job http://www.iroczone.com/images/wiring/1988wiringb.gif

Re: Will this work?

If you have a cassette radio, just buy a cassette adapter to use the player.
