I have a 1984 Z28 H.O that I need a stock stereo for. Anyone have model # and or pics? I measured my opening at 7 5/8" by 3 5/16" and I found couple stereos online but all in the 8" -8 5/8" width. Don't make sense as they are supposed to work in my car.

 

there was a couple radios available depending on options. but most are just the standard tape player delphi, your year would have the whitetish for the buttons and green display. as long as you font have the uq7 "performance sound option" thats it

Thanks. I am still wondering about the sizes tho. I messaged the one selling that stereo for the measurements of face plate. The total opening for plate is 7 5/8" by 3 3/8" in my car. Waiting for his reply.

 

It will fit and plug up to stock wiring.
There is a member here, red88tagta , that sells these stereos with an added jack for mp3 players.
