i have 2 pioneer 15's that were in my 86 monte carlo. i just bought my 85 camaro and i want to know if i can fit my 15's in there. if anyone has any plans for a box or has 2 15's in there camaro i would like to see them. if i can get them in they should hit around 160db. but the tuff part is getting them in there.
thanks,
mike

Well, actually, i bought the box like that, so i'll have to get the measurements for it. You can't tell, but the box actually goes down into the well area too. Those are the Pioneer dvs's 15's, and i had 2 pioneer 12's dvc's before they were stolen, but you can tell a big difference though. I have the pioneer GM-X944 amp, not sure what it puts out though, with the pioneer 8200 cd player.

yes if you get the right box.. the box i have fits perfectly in the well and is pretty much flush with the trim around the hatch pull down motor.. doesnt cover up the shelf at all tho.. has 2 12's in it.. im tryin to decide if ill have enough airspace if i were to cut the holes larger and upgrade to two 15's...

Here's a site I got off of here a while back...they've got a bunch of styles. I don't know if they make a 15" box, but I've contacted them before...and they'll work with You on anything. Just a suggestion...

Hey, no problem... I thought that's what You had and what He was looking for. Looks like You've got the 4-10"/2-15" box. I bet it sounds real good! like I said...I called them with some questions and they are really nice. They'll work with You, too..if You have other ideas or requests.
I love when I can help, since I've been helped SO much here at thirdgen.
c ya later! Brant
