enough bass?

me and my brother are redoing the bass line of his system in his 89 firebird.

he dosent want his bass to be the only thing heard, but he wants it to be loud. i told him to get 2 12" polk dX subs, with a rockford 800.4 fully powering them. a q-logic custom fit box is already in there, waiting for subs

when we went to talk to some dude at a car audio place, he said the polk subs wont give us good bass.

please help!

Polks a good company, but there is better. Check out the JL Audio, Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, and Infiniti lines.

They, with that amp, will definately pound. You may need another amp to power your 6x9s for some louder highs..
