MTX vs. JL AUDIO

I got my whole system stolen and i am talking to the insurance company about what they are going to give me back. I had 2 MTX 6000 and i was wondering if the JL Audio W0's would sound better. They will be running off a 540 watt amp. The price is about 20 bux difference. Which one would give me the best quality bass?

i dont know how the specific models compair, but in general, JL Audio tend to be more sound quality subs while mtx is more about boom and loud

I like my MTX thunder 7000. I have around 800 watts on it an it sounds very good. Don't know if the 8000's sound very good or not.

I've got 2 JL 12's in mine, I love em, gives you a good cross between sound quailty and nice bass. They can be pushed easily and sound great. Also carry good too in our cars, so you can hear/feel em outside. :lala:

Lets not get retarded!

JL, nothin else, MTX sux! The JL W0's are good for deep bass: The JL W3's have the best compadibility for all basses: The JL W6, good hard hittin, sux at low hertz, JL W7, you will never see anything better! Only one problem, Camaro's are not big enough for a box with the right air space for a 8" It takes an 8' truck bed to fit 2 12"s

I've got a JL 12W6 in my car with a Fosgate 250.2. Sounds really good.
I'd go with JL.
