and still has room under neath to store stuff (t-top bag, jumper cables. etc.) I know this may sound demanding, but that is what I am going to try and do. Anyone think that its not possible to do? I am having a hard time trying to think of ideas on how to build it, and I plan to start construction of it this weekk! this would be so much easier if I had tens!

My opinion is if your gonna build a custom box that holds 2 12's and an am,and you still want space at the very bottom for stuff. You better off using 10's because your gonna get very little air space and those 12's will probably sound like crap.

I think it can be done. My subs only need 1 cu. ft. of air so space isn't really a problem. I think that If I put the twelves on the right side right next to each other, then I should have enough room to fit my amp next to them running parallel with the side of my car. The amps going to stick up about 3" so that I can put hinges on the box that holds the amp so that it can hinge towards the subs, opening a space to store stuff in! I know its hard to picture in your mind, but if I get it done, I'll post pics and dimensions.

It can be done, My friend and I built a box like the one you described in his 91 Z28 He has two 12 inch MTX subs and a 250 watt amp., Before you start to do it, know this- it is a pain in the *** and takes a while. There are about 14 different pieces to cut,and a few hard angles, but if you havent started the box yet,and you still want help, e mail me and i will walk you through the process. The finished product however, you will not be dissapointed with, It looks and sounds great and there is room for a t-top bag under it too. btw, neon lights look good on the top of the box.

MSTNG KLR- do you have any pics of the box? I would really like to see them. Time is one thing I do have. I will probably be working on it for about an hour each day, 5 days a week intil I get it done.
