intake manifold
are there any mods or up grades I could do my stock intake for better performance? If so, how did ya do it? I heard that some people play around with the plenum what do you think?

take it off and get a Edelbrock RPM and nice Holly 650 with some Headers and you will feel the difference. Later add a nice Cam and boy you are good to go.

Mods: gasket match the ports.
Upgrade: Weiand Action+ or GMPP ZZ4-type. Performer is a lateral move.
Holley? Only if you enjoy spending money that leads to spending more money that results in emissions test/inspection failure but doesn't result in a performance improvement.

Too bad those don't look anything like Camel hump heads.
And since when is a Holley 670 made up of three single barrel carbs?
He means that Performers are basically a stock replacment..no gain whatsoever. and he's right.
There is no such thing as going too big when it comes to dual planes. Go for a Steath, Brodix HVH, or even an RPM.
nice pic. I not only love how it matches your description, how realistic it looks, but appreciate the direct bearing it has to this post.

The Performer and Action+ are available in EGR versions. The GMPP piece is EGR.

I only know people who have been disappointed with Performers, I haven't had one myself or compared it side-by-side to the Weiand or GMPP. Edelbrock says idle-5500 RPM for the Performer, Weiand says idle-6000 for Action+.
I know my engine continues to pull to 6300 RPMs (although not as hard as before 6000) with the GMPP. The ZZ4 is rated at 355 HP @ 5250 RPM with that manifold unmodified, and you know it will rev above the peak HP. If you need more flow than a ZZ4 does, gasket match it.
If you're buying new, get the Action+. If you can find a take-off, get the GMPP. If it's free, go for the Performer, use the savings to join Weight Watchers.
All of this assumes you're talking EGR & q-jet (i.e., emissions). If you don't have emissions concerns and are willing to go aftermarket carb, get the Stealth & a Demon.

not trying to be a little punk and nag people, but whould the zz4, or the action plus be better for my modded 350? check sig for mods. i was thinkin bout fiding the zz4, and them gasket matching the ports..
