dose someone make a throttle position sensor for a proform main base carb.
i am thinking of buying a lm-1 with the lma-2 rpm converter. since they can log a wide band o2, the rpms, and 4 other sensor, i thought 2 good ones to help tuning would be a throttle position sensor, and a map sensor.

if one doesnt exist this is a ruff diagram of how it would be made
the pot has to be a 1/4 turn pot and connected to the primary throttle shaft somehow

You'd have to improvise something. Look for a thread started by five7kid, he's managed to put a TPS on a Holley carb. The idea should be similar.

where did you get the 5 volt one, because i need one that ranges from 0-5 volts

5 volts is the power to the TPS. The output is dropped by the TPS until you get to WOT.
To be honest with you, I'm not sure I've got it right yet. I can adjust mine to the proper .46 volts at idle, but I'm only getting 3.7 volts WOT. It seems to run okay, I'm just not sure I'm getting full advance out of the ignition.

Are you getting full travel out of the TPS? Adding a couple of pots would give you an adjustable span and offset.

No problem with the travel. I used a spring, and it gets the TPS to full stroke about half way into the secondary opening.
it the hot side connected directly to a switched 12 volt source or do i have to make a voltage divider bias

In five7kid's application, the ECM is providing him with a regulated +5V reference. You'd need to provide a regulated source of your own, a voltage divider isn't really going to be suitable.
how about a 5 volt zener diode

You could. This is such a low-current application that a zener would be ok.
