No Start

My car has been running and starting fine. Today it will not start. There was a mouse under the hood. What wire would he have chewed. I can hear fuel pump run so think that isn't problem.

Re: No Start

You need to be a little more descriptive in how it's not starting.

Does anything happen when you turn the key to the start position? Does the engine crank but not start?

Re: No Start

It cranks fine and I have tries pouring fuel into carb and nothing. There have been mice under hood for a couple days. How can I check spark? Fuel pump runs but don't know how to check pressure.

I have fuel. Looked at distributor cap seems fine. Can the vats system screw this up.

Re: No Start

VATS disables the starter.

Has your car been converted from TBI to carburetor?

I have an 89 Camaro, new starter, new battery, no click, nothing. I even ran a wire from the activation bolt on the starter to the battery, nothing
