Super Charger Carbs

Whats the main difference? Do they still pull vaccume like normal carbs so i can keep my power brakes hooked up, even with it on a supercharger? But my boost guage will have to be on the manifold now... what about the tranny modulator? it was on the manifold but not with Boost it will mess it all up, can i connect that to the carb instead?

Carbs on roots blowers work pretty much normally without any modifications. Just hook any vacuum powered accesories to the carb rather than the manifold under the blower...if there even are any provisions under it. Holley even sells a blower-specific line of carbs I believe that has the idle circuits calibrated to suit it a little more if you wnna make it real easy.

I heard that the predator carbs work GREAT on a supercharger. Not many people know about 'em, though. They flow LOTS of air and are supposed to have a nice idle circuit built into the street model.

I havnt got the carb yet. I thought special "Blower" carbs had "manifold referenced power valves" thats why they are $400.00 more than the average carb??? Im gonna wait till i get the carb then try to figure out how it works. Ive already got a 850 Holley without power valves on my car (backfires alot, removed power valves cause they got too expensive) and it seems ok i keep it a little rich tho at wot like 12:1 and i get like 3 MPG my cruise is like 14:1 it doesnt make sense but whatever...
maybe its like 3500 Stall lolol
