Drove the Trans Am in the OSU Homecoming Parade Friday!!
Here are some pictures from the Ohio State Homecoming Parade this past Friday evening. It was a lot of fun to drive in, although a manual transmission isn't suited to a parade route.
I was quite pleased with my passenger.

I've been asked to use my 'vert in our Halloween parade but I declined because I didn't know how sturdy the tonneau cover is and if I would have more than one person sitting on it.
So, how'd the cover hold up?

Awesome!
Now see what you can do to get that Buckeye team to lose a game or two like the rest of the nation's best teams.

Looks really nice (and your car too!)
!
Yes, driving a manual in a parade can be a challenge. They never go one speed. It's like go, stop, go, stop, go, stop. And one gear is to low and the other to high. And you need to avoid riding the clutch.
The 3rd gen's hard tonneau cover can easily support one or two light girls. Plus they get to sit in the best seat in the house. As opposed to Mustangs, etc, that have a soft cover. Then the girl is stuck sitting down on the seat.
I was in a parade with a girl on the back on an incredibly hot summer day. I put a soft towel on the tonneau cover to protect her legs from getting hot on the black vinyl. And the back seats down with a towel so she had a nice flat surface for her feet.
3rd gens work great!!!!
Did you adjust your rear view mirror?

Unfortunately, I was riding the clutch a lot more than I wanted too.... Seemed like everything was up hill... and this is freakin Ohio
The mirror was all ready to be adjusted... but she was wearing a nice pair of conservative dress slacks.
