New years is quickly approaching, I know many of you have some big plans for the upcoming year like... new paint, interior, suspension, exhaust,, etc.

I plan on getting some 18" chrome Irocs and maybe some 4th gen seats if I can find some affordable ones. So how about you guys??

 

to finish up lsx swap and hopefully have my procharger attached to it. Hoping for 600-700rwhp!! Maybe a new rearend like a c4 swap..

 

Im just finishing a total suspension overhaul.

Next year I want to stop my slow oil & coolant leak. Hoping it is just the intake gaskets. Also want to put headers and Y-pipe on and then need a cat to pass emissions. Then 2011 can be my first year since I owned it for 3 years where I put insurance on it!

 

I just hope get get her on the road first of all then I plan on making sure the rust stops and work on fixing the hole the previous owner made to get to the fuel pump. A bunch of little things that I need to do!

 

Starting paint Monday. Hope to be done by the 2nd week of the new year. Already have all prep done, finished my last wet sand this morning. Heading over to where i am painting to finish up my clean room, in a couple hours. After i finish paint and body, suspension and rear end switch. That'll be mid 2011

who knows, it'll proll just sit in garage until I can totally rebuild/ repaint the body.

89 formula 350 vert:
get the stock motor back from machine shop, built and in car.
Also repaint the front an rear bumpers and driver her a lil!

 

Plan on getting my blue 92 TA painted and new top put on,then new aftermarket GTA wheels /tires. Hope to make it to a STARS or some other show this year. Also secretly buying parts for my project Black 92 TA vert that I want to totally restore. That needs a new engine,interior,top, wheels,etc.

 

Installing a Ram Air 2 hood and filter system. Then, paint. Few things more but that is the biggies.

 

Get it running again (stupid TBI), new top and a few new suspension parts.

 

i need to upgrade my suspension as well as my front brakes. This will be done this year its bad lol

 

In chronological order:

-finish my high rise spoiler
-buy and install a good rear end that won't grenade like the 10 bolt did at the track last year
-get the door hinges and handles fixed, has saggy doors and the springs fell out of the handles
-coil over suspension with tubular a-arms
-ported heads and FAST intake/tb combo


The last two might not happen this year, but I can surely try! It depends on how much money my wife lets me set aside for car parts.

Come late Winter/early Spring, I'm going to change out the front hard brake lines/hoses, rear brake hose, install new lower control arms and Panhard rod, pull the nose apart and clean & undercoat under-the-car bits, and get my new front fenders put on. Also, the plan is to get the 'vert painted, maybe mid-Spring. We'll see how time, weather, and finances are, closer to then . . .

 

hopefully finish up the 454 t5 swap. maybe start off running a 13.5? suspension and brake upgrades as well + 9 bolt gears

 

Goals:

4.2 Inline 6 cyl. 4L65E Trans swap.

I want to get it running, then start fabing a turbo kit w/front exit exhaust.

New top

Paint, not sure what color. Maybe a dark grey metallic.

 

Doing my LS1 swap this summer and hopefully a new top. Paint in the winter provided I can outfit my workspace to accomodate painting.

 

To finally get the 3in hushpower muffler installed, along with possibly headers/y-pipe and cat (probaly wont happen though), work on the condition of paint, fix those small misc. things. Thats all I can think of for now.

planning to drive mine. maybe recover the seats and door panels and replace the carpet if I get really anxious to work on it. I have a few other projects taking up most of my attention.

 

Installing a vigilante conveter, a holley tbi, install 145 cluster with whte face gauges, and a bm megashifter. Also hope to do valve seals but thats not a real high priority.

 

I'm going to tear it completely apart to prep and paint, get my new fenders put on, replace a brake line or two, change out all three brake hoses, and put on the mint dash pad that I picked up for 20.00 last Summer. I'd also like to improve my air intake somehow, replace the timing chain, replace the water pump with an aluminum one, and desmog and install shorty headers. New rear lower control arms and an unbent Panhard rod as well, if I can find the time to replace them. Also, I'm going to try and drive it more than last Summer . . .

 

i was wondering why you chose that engine?

 

Cam valvetrain upgrade, custom tuning.
Body and paint.
Paint/repair interior- Replacing Seats with 4th gens, any help there would be appreciated.

Rebuild Worldclass t-5, any thoughts opinions there would be greatly appreciated as well.

Actually rebuilding the t-5 as soon as possible. I miss driving my GTA...

 

I just hope to drive mine more. Only took it out maybe 4 times last year. Did less than 500 miles.
I would also like to clay-bar the paint.

 

Finish suspension mods, then get the interior and paint/graphics done. With any sort of good luck, this should happen by October '11.
