Engine Oil Cooler.......

How is the hose routed? Does anyone here have pics? I recently found out that my hose is missing! Its been cutoff. It is cutoff near the oil filter. I want to replace it and need to find out the length that is needed. :hail:

Mine basically has hard line that snakes along the oil pan over to the passenger side then runs forward to the radiator and connects a little below the radiator cap.

I just found out that this car had the L98! But someone overheated the engine and seized it and replaced the engine with another 350. It has the oil cooler thingy adapter where the oil filter resides. The hose is cut off there and i have no idea where the hose runs to. Did the L98's have a seperate oil cooler or was the oil routed inside the radiator?
Thanks!!!

coolant was routed though the oil cooler. thus cooling the oil.

Next to the oil cooler is a plug hole to which usually a hose adapter would be connected. That will route into your oilcooler. Then you need to run a hose to a hardline which is a bitch to bolt to your oil pan. The hard line has an s-shape. at the end of the har line you have to T a hose into the coorect (i forget which one) hoses risiding to the right of the car.

Is there any company out there that makes these oil cooler lines....On my car they ARE THERE.....but they have but cut in certain places and replaced with rubber line. I guess they got rusty and started to leak.
