DOH!!!! i rounded off my temp sensor bolt

ok, in the middle of my 305 to 350 swap, i took the temp sensor off the 305 block and went to put it on the 350. when i went over to my 350, i noticed there was a bolt to plug the hole. no biggie right. so i just get my trusty 9/16 open end and DOH!!! i rounded it off. tried everything, vice grips, pliers, the works. wont come out. can i relocate my temp sensor somewhere else? there is another bolt in the same place on the other side but i dont want to round it off too, and its tight. help?!!!

i would get me a 1/2" nut (iner dia. not wrench size) and i would weld that thing on to the bolt. then it WILL come out if you can weld . that or you can try a bolt extractor not a ez out cuz they suck, get a real one

wow, welding a nut on the bolt! That is a great idea! Im only 17, so im still learning! Thanks. As far as I know, just as long as the temp sensor is in the block away from the combustion chamber, it will be fine. This may be incorrect, just what ive heard. might help you, hope so!
