aluminum or electrical water pump?

I'm looking ot put a new water pump in my car which would be the best for a street application? I want to save weight and lost hp.

id go with aluminum. when electric stuff is installed theres more stuff to go wrong

electric pumps are not made with daily driving in mind they are more for race applications

what size is the shaft one my 1989 firebird formula is it 5/8,long,short dont know?

stewart is of the best. good choice. whats this pump for. what mods do you have. you might not need an aluminum one unless its to look good. their stage 1 pumps are pretty awesome. awesome enough to help any problems you may have.
