I tried it on my 92 no luck without doing some mods ... I bought a dual setup from Ramchargers

The Ramchargers fan is the ticket since I installed it no more temp creeping sitting in traffic.Plus the price is right! https://www.ramchargers.com/cgi-bin/...801&cat4=13802

which one of those fans did you get?, there looks to be a few different twin setups.

I'm running a dual fan setup out of an LT-1 powered 4th gen currently and I'm VERY pleased with it. I've been told that the LT-1 setups actually flow better than almost any aftermarket units available. Here's a link to the thread I started (with pics) about the install. There are more pictures than what I posted directly into the thread, but there's a link to the extra pictures in the thread too. Let me know if I can answer any questions or anything, good luck with whatever route you pick!

Thanks alot, looks like you did it already! and I`m glad you took pictures. It looks as if the 4 th gen stuff is a lot deeper, this probably won`t work for me because of the big block with the long water pump setup. It`s close with the twin third gen fans now and those look to be even deeper. I do like the whole shroud that holds them and you did a good job on the install, but only one question, It looks as if the shroud doesn`t go all the way to the core support, what`s holding it down there?

Actually it does go to the bottom of the core support, and I used the old power steering cooler mount to bolt it to the bottom of the core support. You can kind of see it in this pic:

The setup is definitely deeper than the 3rd gen units, but I think with a little ingenuity you could modify the shroud even more than I did so that you would have more clearance. I guess someone just needs to try it to find out Let me know if I can help out with anything else!
