i want to install a griffin rad into my 89 trans am but there is a problem with that

if you look at the picture the griffin does not have the return port that the stock rad has and i heard from people to conect the hose to the pump but i ahve a newer reverse rotation pump and it does not seem to have a port to hook it to

is there anywhere else that i can hook it to or what?

thanks guy

The intake or the water neck. You can get a water neck with threaded hole at any auto mparts store.

Your waterpump has a heater core return port. It is probably plugged. Remove the plug and install the correct size heater hose fitting.

The factory pumps do not have the port on the water pump. An aftermarket pump should come with a threaded port to attach the heater return hose.

yea, the reman on my car has the port, plugged right now, but it only cost like $20-$25

edit: I have seen remans without the port, so check at the store before you buy, if the first does not have it, keep looking at all the water pumps listed for your car at the store, at least one should hjave the port

i checked with my local autozone and the highperformance pump has a port so im cool

i can get the rad then all i need is a trans cooler

oh and i picked up an 97 lt1 cam from a low miles car for 50 bucks and a set of rebuilt heads 081 casting same as my stock ones but new valves with valvejob, seals, springs, and was hot tanked, magna-fluxed, decked the whole 9 for 170

i got the heads so i dont have to have my car down for so long while i port these

sould make some nice sneaky power when done:rockon:
