Help with fans

Aquired an 88 GTA. Has stock duel fan seretup. Ac car. But missing ac peices.

Passanger fan is currently grounded out so it will run.
installed a new switch, and 1wire connector. Where does the wiring from the switch go to? They ripped out the old wiring for it. I know of 2 relays by brake booster. Neither of these has the "green wire with white stripe" the 2 relays by pass front engine compartment does however. One of these relays is where i have grounded the fan temporary. No other wiring from battey to switch etc.

and yes... i DO know where the 1 wire switch plugs into

Re: Help with fans

So what relays should i be looking at. By the booster or front pass fender. As by the booster there is NO green wire with white stripe. Only at front pass fender..

I am debating on removing all wiring from the sensors and installing 2 40 amp relays with the switch and having it a standalone system. That is my second option. 3rd is just going aftermarket.

Re: Help with fans

The fans are ran by the computer, so if you're not running the factory ECU I'd just go aftermarket. The system in my '88 GTA was trash when I bought it and I just started over with an aftermarket switch and relay system, and now I'm doing the same with my '87 IROC. However the IROC is being managed by a FAST engine management system with new relays running the stock fans.
