4th Ten Coolant Mod With Driver Side Battery?

Has anyone done this? I am in the process of finishing my serpentine conversion on on my 85 with a complete setup from my 88 parts car. I see lots of pics and info with using the 4th gen bottle on the passenger side as it acts as a battery tray. Was initially planning to go that route but now ruining i will put the battery on the driver side, similar to the 88 setup. Keeps battery closer to alternator and I have the complete wiring harness.

looking for ideas and thoughts.

Thanks!

you would need to relocate your air filter and evap canister to install on pass side

He could move the evap canister to the underside of the driver's side battery tray.

Isn't that where the vacuum ball is located?

Not on my 84 T/A. I suggested it because it's just an easy flip - IF there already isn't something occupying that real estate.

Oh, my mistake. My 88 had the ball under there.

Adding the 4th gen coolant AND washer tank really cleans up to look. I would recommend it highly. Many posts on doing it including myself.

Thanks for the link! That is the only example i could find with the coolant bottle being installed on the driver side. Looks like it can be done!

Or just mount it under the pass tray.
