Should there be a hose clamp here?

The hose that connects to my coolant reservoir seems to leak instantly. I originally thought it was my tank, ordered a new one but now found its actually coming from the hose.

Its not fully connected in the picture but i was wondering if there is supposed to be a hose clamp there or something? It's leaking when car is off.

Re: Should there be a hose clamp here?

When the car is off the coolant cooling down creates a vacuum that pulls from the overflow tank which can create some pressure on that connection. Mine came with a spring clamp but I ditched it for a regular hose clamp. Either works, just don't tighten the hose clamp like crazy if you use the regular style.
