you wish. many a company make the data logger for Palm look around. The reason I am not posting link(for the couple of free versions now) is that, you people (besides 2-3 of you) are of NO HELP to new comers at all. Infact you typically ignore people. So why the hell should I help you all out? go through what I did search unendingly like I had too.

The whole point of this board is to help people out. If you are not willing to do so then there is no use of you being a member of this community. I started out not knowing anything about prom burning; with the help of people here I am now burning proms all the time.

Moral of the story: if you are not going to help out, don’t post something stupid like this.

 

I have posted on here a couple of times, I had 3 people reply with intelligent answers. THATS why if you read what I said, save for 3-4 of the people on THIS forum, there is little help. THATS also why I am not going to post links to the software that I found. 3 to be exact that I have installed right now, with 2 more ready to install more on comp.

The people on this board will only help if the person searching for info has V8, well quess what there are other engines out there too. So thats why I am only telling 3 people where to find this Dl info. BTW, one of them works really good it can log, review on the palm, and watch the tables too!. Its great!

This will make modifacations easy as hell.

 

Unfortunately attitudes like this.. is what makes it sad nowadays...

Since the Programming board(and this one in the V6) seems to be so helpfull (NOT) I went out and searched for days and finally did find a FREE Data logger for Palm OS 3+.
89 I am gonna D/L it tomarrow. I am already working on a little black box to perminatly attach to my Diag port. I have an extra Dock for my M105 to mount in the car too. And sence my Palm can go online, I will be able to D/L info off it to my computer over the cell. And start all over after D/L.

Soon to GenerationXRacing, will offer "REAL" Performance chips. And custom Programable on the fly.

I am gonna have to get more caps from electronics Dept tomarrow. 89 Email me about it... Hopefully by next weekend it will be done and ready to go.


In short quit your whining about not getting any help. Its clear you participate only on the V6 board with any regularity, and from what I've read, haven't posted any earth shaking info on any board. So do us all a favor, if you want to share your Palm software, then do so, otherwise drop it.

Their are plenty of members here who help anyone that asks, most will bend over backwards to lend a hand, or at the least direct you to someone that can help. If because someone didn't answer one of yours, it means probibly that noone had an answer, therefore no reason to reply. So drop the attitude and grow up. Have a nice day, Bob

How to get data logger onto palm M105
ok I got a DOS Emulator on my palm... how Do I get a DATA logger on it? I cannot figure out how to get a program that Palm OS does not recognize to install on it.

So one thread didn't get the results you wanted.. boo hoo. Congrats you found what you needed, the fact it took you 5 days to find doesn't mean crap. I've got more time in finding the info on swapping to a 749. And I offer help regarding that swap to anyone that asks. Still you think that since you spent the time to find a Palm scanner that your "owed" something. Big deal As far as I can tell Craig has been the only one that asked for the link, and hes spent more time off-list designing/building eprom adapters, developing software, and generally figuring out ways to make burning simpler than I could imagine. So in closing, if you don't like the DIY board than fine...stay off it then,you don't have anything to offer anyways. Best of luck in your indevers.. Bob

Attention ALL V6 F-body users wanting to burn their own eproms
TunerCat has just released their new "beta test" versions of the $88 (7730 SD V6 F-body) and $3A (302 MAF V6 F-Body) TDFs. They have authorized me to find some trustworthy V6 F-body owners to "beta test" these new TDFs.

I have already got enough beta testers for the $88 SD version, but I am still looking for $3A MAF users. If you own a older V6 F-body that used MAF and the 302 ECM, own prom burning equipment or have access to prom burning equipment OR if you live close to the Kamloops area where I can personally work with you; please e-mail me offline.

I am going to make this post "sticky" for a couple of days until I can find a $3A user and then I will delete this post entirely.

 

you know how long that took to get posted? I have 2 user names BTW, camaro_hunter_d is my other, the password stopped working. So I have been on the boards for over 2 years now I think. And everytime 1 of 2 people would actually reply to my threads I posted in here, and you were not one of them. So I am still wondering why exactly I am supposed to helkp you? While I am not trolling, I am simply stating that YES there is freeware for Palm Data logging, go find it. After I got the search refined it took maybe a couple hours to find 4 of the ones I found. So stop wasting your time bit(hing about me refusing to post the links and search for yourself!.

Second, the 749 logger would be the one I would use.

Third, I know of several links to PDA loggers, free and otherwise.

Fourth, big deal I havent replied to one of your threads, with18,530 members of this site, I'm with 99.99% of everyone else.

Fifth,You still think that anyone cares if you post the link or not.

This guy is an official KING of the trolls. First off I don't believe he's gotten ANY of this stuff to work let alone built the hardware in a couple days. I could be wrong since he's a troll and has plenty of time!
I also find it funny that he didn't get a reply about some v6 palm software and that he THINKS we knew the magic links but didn't want to tell him. THAT IS TOO FUNNY. Why else would people ask him for the links!!!! lol I can't wait for all those suckers on the v6 board to waste their money on his "does wonders" eprom. I also find it amusing that everything he says contradicts what he's said in the past. It's like that kid in school that got all defensive because his car was slow and you said it was because it only had a v6 (hehe, pushing buttons).
V8, V6, iron duke, I don't give a crap so long as you try and help people help themselves. In this case I think the prom board did it's job. It got the guy to find some useful info that WOULD be useful to a bunch of other people if he wasn't such a Queen troll (yes, demoted for not having a dick to post the links).
I'm not wasting any more time on this post mostly because it's not helping anybody and secondly I don't have a PALM. Sucks to be you if you do.....I'll just stick with my $50 laptop.

Typically I don't flame, but without any evidence to the contrary whatsoever, I'd have to agree that this little guy is about to burst from being full of it...

Historically, those that are not willing to share information are always proven to either be bound by IP restrictions or don't know the difference between their head and other body parts.
