Difference between 350 and 305 in PROM

I'm looking for a bin for a friend of mine, he has an 88 305 auto with 3.27 rear, so if you have one please let me know.

As for the difference in the chips, I have 350 with a little tuning, but I have the same setup with auto and 3.27 rear. What are the differences between these chips? Fuel I know needs to match the injectors, but what about A/E or any other tables. What is going to be easiest.

Hmm, I guess I forgot to post that.

We can't find the bin for an 88 or 89 305 with auto and 3.27 gears, so I was wondering if I could just edit mine from a 350 to a 305 and what would I need to change.

thx

Daniel

Speaking generically, EGR duty cycle changes, fuel and spark, IAC changes. For some reason the 305 runs much more spark than the 350s.

Hmm. Well, I guess I could change the gears and ratios to match a 3.27 rear from another car. Thanks guys.

Daniel - at least in $8D, there are no gears or ratios that I've found concerning the rear end in the car. Wish there was, we wouldn't have to use a Dakota Digital box to get the speedo to read right. You can probably change out the gears in the tranny and get the speed right, but nothing in the prom I'm aware of....

Depending on the program that you use, there are some TCC lockup speeds and ratios. I know this because Phil and I create a PROM for my car with a 3.27 gear when I only had 2.77, that thing locked up at about 25mph and started bucking until I had to give it more gas to get out of OD and lockup.

We contacted his friend up in NY which happened to have a 350 auto 2.77 car, once we put that in, it was fine. It might not matter as much going from 2.77 to a 3.27, but I would rather set it up correctly if possible. BTW, this is for Erik's Camaro.

Gotcha on for who. Only problem is we'll neither one be there for the meeting. I've got a huge server replacement that weekend that I can't get re-scheduled.....

I'll be out at the Toadies concert until late. It won't really matter until he is switching rears.
