Very very docile?.
Are you using the stock injectors?.

SD would be your best move in my opinion. The real limit is how much work you're willing into getting it right.

Do you have any scanner info., from what you've got?

I was using the the stcok injectors at 55 psi but changed it to 30lb SVO's..Ran good,no pinging (not like before) and idles steady at 700 RPM..no scanner but a bunch of Dyno runs with the 22lb injectors

In your sig line it says stock ecm/chip.
This ain't adding up
Your running 30#ers with a stock chip and having it run well?

believe it or not ..YES..no dyno runs on with the new injectors but timeslips are a bit better than before..Only problems Im having after the swap is the inconsistency of the runs at the track..There are time when it would run good, plugs are clean on 45 psi but sometimes it would be too rich..I have to change the pressure 3 times in 3 instances of racing..I would run almost the same times but my fuel pressure would all be different..Only changes that I know of would be the temperature outside

If your car was an SD I would suggest modifying the MAT Inverse Delta Multiplier Table. This is the ambient air temperature correction table for the MAT. This is ESPECIALLY important if you run a relocated MAT.

With MAF, I have not been able to find any such correction table. Mine belief is the MAT for MAF only controls the EGR. The MAF Scalar tables may be where you need to make the necessary adjustments.

I noticed the MAF Scalar tables for the ARAP BIN are different than stock MAF BINs ($6E TDF). Maybe you should try using the same entries for the MAF Scalar Tables as the ARAP as your starting point. It appears the changes are only subtle, but have a major effect. Be careful on the adjustments.

Are you sure you wouldn't like to look at SD? I think the VE Tables are actually easier to calculate a correction for once you get the hang of it.

Thats a little too much for my scope but IM cutting and pasting it for future reference...

I would switch to SD but not for a while,I just need to know the chances of this cam being undrivable/unbearable before I switch

thanks

With the extra cubic inches from your stroker crank, your engine would like the bigger cam, especially since the "305" cam is acting docile. Traxion has a 230/245 cam in his 350 and has it idling pretty well, but he's also using SD and a good bit of experience in working with it. If you get into burning your own chips, you could make that cam work with the MAF setup. A better cam might be something with similar specs but from the Xtreme line and a 114 LSA, with the wider LSA helping smooth the idle out and even extending the powerband some. I know some 4th-gen guys with cams this size in their 350's passing emissions with no problem, partly because of the wider LSA.

I agree with Greg, there's a guy on one of the boards with a 427 LS1 from ARE i believe. He hits low 10's in the 1/4 without the bottle or other adders has a similar cam and all, still passes emissions....I believe the LT1 guys are doing the same with their 396's. Then again, i'm just amazed at some of the cam's these guys are running...look like tree stumps.
