Has anyone ever seen an adjustable fuel psi regulator for a TPI system without a vaccume line? My shop manual talks about it when adjusting the fuel psi but I dont have one. There is just a small hole in the side of the case above the diaphram and nothing else except the adjusting screw. This regulator appears to only sample atmosphere. Is this going to be a problem? All I know about this TPI setup is that I dont think its a factory model, and it says "Big Mouth" on the intake.

It doesnt appear to be broken, no marks. All I know is its what was on the car when I got it.
Is this going to be a problem?

IF, it were mine, I'd be drilling it out and installing a piece of brass tubing in there.
TPI, right?. Just never saw that before.

Grumpy is right. I'd bet that little hole was once a nipple with a hose attached to it... heee heeee

My FPR is billet aluminum with a (very small) tapped hole for the brass nipple that came with it. Can't remember the brand. Can you tell if the hole is threaded?

Did not appear to be threaded. Maybe it once had a press-in fitting. ????? The worse part is I'm not sure I can even get to it with out taking the plenum off.

Its broken. It should have a nipple on it that is connected to a vacuum source. Look at the underhood label. It will have the vacuum diagram.

You will definitly have to remove the plenum. On my fpr it had special torks screws that I had to get a tool for. The torks screw has a little nipple in it. The torks bit will have a hole in it to slip over the nipple.

No diagram, this car came with a TBI. Im guessing it should be T'd into the plenum? Does the regulator get atmosphere psi at all? What I'm saying is does the vaccume on y'alls cars go above or below the diaphram and atmospheric psi on the other.(like a booster type diaphram) Option #1: Fuel psi and MAP on one side of diaphram vs. atmospheric psi and spring on the other? or Option #2: Fuel psi on one side vs. MAP and spring on the other?
