Datalogging issue with ostrich
Ok I finally got my car out this week and got to play with some of my new toys..
I plugged in my datalogger and it worked just fine with the custom ship from fast chips that was in there but after I installed my ostrich I cant get the thing to connect to the ECM I tried like 20 times and nothing. Then it threw a code 51 which is for bad ecm but the car runs just about as good as it ever did I'm totally confused.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
AL

Is the Ostrich a USB or serial? Maybe also check your aldl cable to make sure its plugged in all the way or loose wire or something.

Did it work before? I run an Ostrich 2.0 USB. The only weird thing is I have to run the ostrich in the side USB ports of my laptop and not the back...

Plug your stock chip onto the bare pins of the Ostrich cable where it plugs into the ECM.

Can you verify that the ostrich has the correct bin file loaded on it? TunerPro has a "verify" option to make sure that the ostrich has the binary file loaded correctly. I know when I loaded a file and it failed, I was getting the same thing
