Enrich Accel Delta MAP Pulse Width Decay Factor Vs. Temp.

hi all...

after making some changes, the car is running better and better, only have the problem, when i push in the throttle very light, the AFR goes down short (13), then goes up (15-16), then settle around 14...this happens, when engine is half warm, lets say 30-50°C

so, maybe altering Enrich Accel Delta MAP Pulse Width Decay Factor Vs. Temp.
will help....

my question now is...when i increase the values, will the pump shot last longer, or will it be shorter?

special thanks to gta324 and all the people that helped me, to get in the right direction...

thank you

Reinhold

The value from that table (at $8590/$8591) is subtracted from the dMAP AE fuel trim value (a multiplier). A larger trim value will cause a larger dMAP AE PW for a longer period of time.

thank you!!

so, this means, by decreasing the table values, the AE will last longer..correct?

Yes, that is the way it looks to me. Makes sense as AXCN has the values suddenly increasing at operating temperature.

thanks again..

i played around with this constant, but still have the problem, that AFR goes to about 15-16 after tip-in...

the AE needs to last longer, but i have no clue now, how i can make it up...

otherwise, the driveability is great....

greetings

Re: Enrich Accel Delta MAP Pulse Width Decay Factor Vs. Temp.

My car is MAF not speed density but the adjustments are similar. I took a different approach. I richen up quite a bit to around 12.0 at initial tip in. This should build the most torque and make sure detonation stays away. Then it settles down to around 12.5-12.7 at full throttle. I didn't change the length of my acceleration enrichment, I just adjusted the amount to be fairly rich...
