APU1 AutoProm Package: USB Version

does this come with a 27SF512 chip and if I buy this 300 something package do i also have to buy an eprom eraser?

The Autoprom uses EEPROMs so it can electrially erase and rewrite them many times. You don't need anything else except for extra chips if you are going to burn them for someone.

I have the autoprom as well. The only other thing you'll need is a chip adapter to put in your ECM to adapt your new chips and still retain the MEMCAL. They are like $35 or something. My PROM burning equipment and my wideband O2 sensor have been some of the best money I've spent on the car....

I don't get it two people tell me that it is a complete program but your telling me that i have to by a chip adapter where can i find this chip adapter/

You need the AutoProm AND the adapter for your vehicle. You'll either need a G1 or a G2, depending on your vehicle (which you don't have listed in your profile information).

You need the chip adapter to adapt the chip you burn to your ECM. Its just a plug in deal. Then the autoprom will come with everything else you need. visit www.moates.net.
