I have commited myself to useing the $59 mask in my turbocharged app. Since I have already spent 50 bucks on a 3 bar map.

Ive tried to fix it but am still having issues fixing my ADX file so that there is no GLITCH/Ghost when connected to the car.

I had this same problem with my $88 mask but eaglemark fixed me up and got rid of the glitch.

Im hoping that someone here has ran into this problem before with this code or $58 even??? As that adx might be somewhat close.

Heres the ADX if anyone has time, or If you can give me some tips that would be awsome!!!!

I plan to do the initial start up on my car with in a week or two and really want to get this glitch/ghost gone before I attempt to start the car up.

When connected the data will stream ok then it will send crazy values... then it goes back to streaming ok. Such as, 0mph when sitting at a stand still then 255Mph then back to 0mph. Im having problems trying to stop the glitch as the ADX is quite different then the last one I was using.

 

Oh, i think i understand what you are talking about. I dont use tunerpro version 5 and the new ADX stuff but every now and then I've seen some "flyers" in the datastream like a random flashing of mph or something as you describe. Doesnt always happen but sometimes has. I ignored it and havent had a problem since. It was only a random single value or something, never a long stream of data. I'd have to review my logs to double check but it was never anything I thought I'd be concerned about. If it sent a crazy value for several seconds then yes that would be something to be concerned about.

I've seen this on other stock maf systems too.

 

Well its pretty common, about every 5 seconds it will jump for a millasec, then it will be fine for 5 more seconds. I have speed density 7730 ECU.

I had this issue with the $88 mask that I was using when my car was N/A but another member got it fixed for me so that it didnt do that anymore. I know its not that the car has a problem, its just that the ADX needs some finesing of somesort that is way over my head..

 

For some people this seems to be a port setting issue, computer related, not Tuner Pro related. I don't recall the actual fix, but I have read about it on this forum and/or the Tuner Pro forum.

IIRC it was a latency setting.

Have you tried Tuner Pro RT v4?

 

Well it was the ADX just not liking my car.. Eaglemark fixed up that ADX well. Im so happy that I went out with the file he modded and...it connected with no glitches!! Thanks so much man, saved me alot of stress!!! I had the EXACT same problem with my $88 mask also, but he also fixed that up. I wish I could figure out how he did that majic...LOL

There is multiple files but I tried the ADX V2 first and it worked great!

 

you have a 3 bar. so you must be running over 15lbs of boost?

 

Right now?? No im not, but I like the options of $59 and what I want someday.

I dont plan on running over 15psi for awhile!!

 

The V2 files in there are specific for his 1227730 $88 car and V2 worked so no need to try others.

The V1 files are fixed up versions of what the guys with $58 use I think thats the syclone and Sunbird. Not sure which one works but when we here back we will have those 2 hosted and available.

Paul did an amazing job on building some sweet adx files for Code $59. I just worked on the connection commands.

 

Nice job guys. I'll have to try tunerpro 5 and the new ADX someday. I've just been getting by well with v4 so no need to try others at the moment. I like the new v5 dash tho.
