I use the Moates.net Ostrich 2.0, myself.

If you don't have any of the tuning cables/equipment, look at the AutoProm, since it has the datalogging cable built in as well.

Re: Recomend a Chip Emulator

The auto prom catches my eye, Ive read up on it at moates website. I have a few questions about it though. How is the customer service and also does it come with its own software or is that something the I would need to buy seperately.

The customer service at Moates is some of the best I have ever experienced.

The Auto Prom comes with a licence for Tuner Pro RT, so you can download that and use the registration to get rid of the 10 second nag window. If you want you can download Tuner Pro RT now, and take a look at it, then when you buy the licence or AutoProm you can then register it. www.tunerpro.net

If I was only doing one car for myself I'd probably go with the EBL. But I have several of my own projects plus another half dozen friends and family members cars that I tune, so I now use the Ostrich 2 and love it!

So have you used both systems? With the ostich 2 you have the capability to tune multiple cars. How is that possible, can you use it to burn chips as well?

I agree if you are going to only use products to tune your tpi camaro I wold go sd the ebl flash P4. Bye the time you buy a apu1 and make or buy a usb to aldl cable you would are close to the cost of dynamic efi's ebl. And alot of the tuning work will be done for you.

The APU1 has the datalogging interface built in, along with an EPROM programmer.

I'm the same way as Punisher, I tune multiple vehicles, so I currently have a whole arsenal of tuning equipment, most I've used, some I haven't. I currently own 2 Ostrich 2.0s (one with BT and always stays in my car, the other for test bench and tuning purposes), an ALDU1/CABL1, 2 Socket Boosters, Burn2, Willem GQ-3X EPROM programmer, a home made serial ALDL cable, that I use on my test bench, a couple FOrd tuning pieces that I have never used, along with a couple Honda items I've never used, plus I have a TV II in my car for the time being to interface with the ALDL, but will be replacing that with a home made version, hopefully before the end of the year, if I can get my butt in gear, plus I have an APU1 on the way, since I want to try one out.

I do want to try out an EBL, but I just can't justify it with my current collection of tuning equipment.
