tunerpro copy chart problems

I recently posted this as a crash problem. I think I figured out that TunerPro simply would not copy because some cells in the table are locked. I have been able to copy most cells from one spark table into a different spark table but when try to copy some cells they turn red and refuse to copy. This leaves a big difference in tables.

I know there is an answer out there as there are a lot of smart people on 3go but I'm pulling what little hair I have left out.

I've copied tables before and have not noticed this problem. I have tried Tunerpro forum but no answers there.

Can someone please help with this problem?

Thanks Scorp, I did know that but the problem is they do not update. When I hit save the chart closes as normal when I reopen ithe chart, it has same old number in the cell. Seems like the middle of the chart will not update for some reason. I'm stumped!

In other words, the cells in the lower center would not update. Puzzled!

Re: tunerpro copy chart problems

Did you click the disk icon after step 3?
The disk in the table window...

Or did you just close it and abandon your changes?

It appears to be an upper limit error. Check the XDF entry for the SA table and see if there is an upper limit to what can be entered into a cell. Likely set to 43*.

RBob.

yes it is 43 but both chart xdf entries are 43 and one chart as you see goes beyond 43. But I will test and report back.

Re: tunerpro copy chart problems

That was it!

Thanks RBob, I knew you would know. Thanks also Scorp1us for your response.

I believe this was my problem with Tunerpro crashing while trying to copy a chart also. I had tried to paste previously and when it wouldn't update, I tried again which causes Tunerpro to crash.

I wonder why the upper limit was lower than the chart entries and how it could have worked that way. This is a stock bin so has always been that way. must be that Tuner Pro puts the limits on as a default 43. Maybe RBob knows but I sure don't.

Thanks again guys. That saved me some hair.

Re: tunerpro copy chart problems

Here is another oddity. I changed the table parameter XDF info on a bin that I setup just to test. I then closed that and opened the real one and lo and behold the upper limit was already changed on it. I checked several other bin files using same xdf and they had not been changed. The XDF info must follow the original bin file. how I don't know.
