A friend gave me a wideband O2 sensor he had laying around. It's an NTK L2H2, but I'm having trouble finding much information on it.
I've found this wiring diagram:

But the wiring is only clear enough for wiring it to a motec ECU.
Heater+ and Heater- are obvious; 12V and ground respectively.
I'm also assuming Sensor 0 V is ground as well (but please correct me if I'm wrong).
Vs and Ip I have no idea about. Can anyone provide any insight on these wires?

The 'ole L2H2 NGK sensor. A very good sensor, just require the proper controller for it. You will need to do some research, but the NGK AFX and the old FJO WB controllers may be able to use it.
Check this before going through with a purchase.
Then again, IIRC, the original hobby WB controller, the "DIY-WB," will be able to use that sensor.

Aha! I didn't realize the signal was no good without a controller. I don't suppose you know a good way to test this sensor before committing to an order of components? Thanks for your help!

Yellow Heater +12V +12v supply
Blue Heater Drive from ECU Pin 46
Black Signal Ground to LAMGND Pin 34
Grey Nernst Cell Voltage to LAMV Pin 33
White Ion Pump Current to LAMI Pin 57

Black Signal Ground to LAMGND Pin 34

is that the same sensor used by the diy-wb kit from ~2001 ? I still have 2 un-assembled pcb's for those.

Innovate recommends for a permanent install to do as follows.
ign on, sensor is on and heating and fuel pump is on. when up to fuel pressure FP is off and sensor is now off.
starter on sensor is off. voltage spikes not desired.
engine starts, sensor is on.
worse scenario is with ign on and sensor is heating, maybe over heating, the cold start shock will damage hot sensor.
