Re: 86 Camaro 305 TP1

What exactly do you need assistance with ?
You need to use a $32 xdf file .
You might want to upgrade your tune to $6e.
Are you having offset issues with the sst eeprom ?

Re: 86 Camaro 305 TP1

Thanks for your reply.

I have used a $32.xdf file and have since found Fuel Cut off at 255mph which is good.

So on my stock 305 TPI it is fine to upgrade tune to $6e ? . Apologies for noob questions as my prior tuning experience is with Nissans !

For $6e you need to see if the fan switch setting is normally open or closed.
You will also need to disconnect the ninth injector.

Re: 86 Camaro 305 TP1

Thanks again

Was looking to run a bit more spark advance than stock with new Chip . What are the main attributes of $6e vis-a-vis $32 ?

$6e has a cold start enrichment vs $32 & $32b.
It also has better maf calibration.

Engine has been running perfectly on $32e. Disconnected 9th injector and swapped to $6e bin, XDF, Definition. could not get engine to start and faults continually increasing on Data Dash. None of the parameters were changed. Is there and basic changes that should be made with upgrade to S6e. ?
