EMP-10 Burner Power Supply

I still need to burn eproms at times but seemed to have "misplaced" the power supply for my Needham's EMP-10 burner. Is there one available or does anyone know the spec on them?

Dom, typically the device has the input voltage listed on it near the plug for the AC adapter. Is this not the case for this chip burner? If you can find that, then any AC adapter would work provided the polarity is correct (typically the pos is the center pin on fast majority of these things anyway)

Found a couple of things browsing around...

note it says 12V... but AC, not DC.

also this link which seems to corroborate...

That one is for overseas, not the US. Note the primary rating of 230V 50 Hz. Need one that is 110/120V 60 Hz.

Re: EMP-10 Burner Power Supply

Not sure the connector you need but the output is 12v 1amp a generic power supply or battery voltage would work. You just need to make sure the polarity is correct...

Re: EMP-10 Burner Power Supply

Thanks guys. Think I found a suitable power supply. 12v 1000ma. Connected to my Windows 98 Toshiba (WOW!) and ran the software fine. I'm going to try burning a prom and see if that part works.
