$61 Code Mask Complete xdf file needed
I'm mainly in search for the xdf that has the cooling fan settings, so I can turn the fan on sooner that 230 or 240, or the location in the xdf file so I can atleast them. Thank you.

Won't happen. The 8746 '89 - 92 ECM doesn't have fan control.
It is via an A/C high pressure switch and a head coolant temperature switch.

Are you sure its not ECM controlled? Just asking as im use to the 7730 ecm. The sw555 will require a new pigtail for my car as its not plug and play.

Are you sure? EVERY last one of them I have seen had the single wire knock sensor style connector. If you are looking at the sensor next to the intake manifold, that is the one for the ECM. The fan switch is in the passenger side head between cylinder 6 & 8 exhaust ports.

You are correct, I remembered my first camsro years back with the 2.8 had one on the passenger side head. I got curious and started digging through wire diagrams and what not and also discovered the 305 has one as well on the passenger side. I am just very use to the 7730 ecm that my other car had from a few months ago. If I could make the TBI 305 run on a 7730 ecm i would go that route as it seems to offer more.

Re: $61 Code Mask Complete xdf file needed
Alright i got my fan issue corrected and used a BWD switch that kicks on around 215F, with that being said, im moving on now.
So now that I'm familiar with the $61 code mask, i created a ADX file with the ADS file. My only issue is that the adx doesn't have a way for me to record the engine timing advance through the ecm data log. I know i can create a new VALUE in the adx header but i do not know where to make it start or look for it on the "Packet Offset (H | D)", as well as the conversion or equation the use.
If anyone can help that would be awesome unless its not feasible.

I have swapped numerous TBI engines to the 7427 TBI PCM from a 1993-1995 TBI truck and also played with an EBL. BOTH are much better options than the original TBI ECM.

Years ago there was a write up for the 1227747 TBI ECM to patch the timing advance into a practically useless output such as Prom ID. Was not hard to do for that ECM, I am sure the 8746 would be very similar. I had several different outputs I could easily switch around into that field for the 1227747. Timing, Injector Pulse Width, Calculated Air/Flow (gms/sec) and Commanded air/fuel ratio were the ones I used most often.

what code mask is the 7747? Is there any other advantages to going to 7747 route?
