Another WBO2 to Tunerpro data logging issue
I'm struggling to get Tunerpro to display my WBO2 (Innovative MTX-L, 7730 ECM). I've read quite a few threads with others having similar issues, but I can't seem to fix mine. These are the files that I am using:
52030_D.BIN (I followed the instructions in the Readme file to copy over data from my tuned bin)
S_AUJP v5 2030_D_3.XDF
S_AUJP v5 2030_D-WBo2 Innovate LC-1.ADX
I have my WBO2 output signal wired into F14 on the ECM. WB OPT 2, b7 is unchecked for pin F14. WB OPT 1, b5 = Innovate LC-1 (1-2V) is checked. In the ADX I changed the equation so it is set for a 0-5 V signal. Also in the ADX I added the "WB AFR (LC-1 1-2v)" to the dash. When I am logging, the WB AFR (LC-1 1-2v) is stuck at 9.7x. Also "WB AFR Gauge" is stuck at 25.3x. With the car running I verified that I have voltage in the signal line from the WB to the ECM. What am I missing? Honestly, I don't fully understand the function of this process from BIN to XDF to ADX. When I select the flag b5 in WB OPT 1 what is changing in the bin? What if I selected the flags of all WB OPT 1? I don't think that changes the location of the data. In the ADX file the there are 4 different WB parameters and they all have the same location; 0x24 36. Thanks for your help.

Is your output from the 1 to 2 Volts like this field in the ADX appears to be setup for the LC1? And for anyone else who knows is this the case for this choice? I thought most wide bands should be 1 to 5 volts reference. I have the LM2 and when I setup the out put with the LM Programmer I had to change it to show A/F ratio then I got an output of 1 to 5 volts, was not getting any thing for out put before I did this with the default setting. Also have you tried switching to pin A3?
Also there is the option to choose Raw A/D out put instead of choosing a WB branding option then you can setup the formula. See this thread here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/dfi-...-wideband.html
I am having issues with this as well so not sure what the fix is, for now I am just part throttle tuning.

I’m not sure I understand your first question. My WBO2 outputs 0-5V. I modified the equation in the ADX file. But I’m not not seeing any change in the A/F reading. Even if the equation is off, the numbers should fluctuate as the A/F ratio changes.
Ive read that thread many times, but I must be missing something.

Definitely post your bin/adx/xdf files this is how ULTM8Z helped me figure out it was something in my bin. I just created a fresh S_AUJP bin and it works with my LM2 and his equation.

Re: Another WBO2 to Tunerpro data logging issue
I will post my files later today.
T4Turtle, glad to see that you got yours working. I'm not exactly sure how the XDF file works either. I think when this is set, "WB OPT 1, b5 = Innovate LC-1 (1-2V)" then just the name "Innovate LC-1 (1-2V)" is assigned to a bin location. I didn't think that there was any math being done in the BIN. The ECM takes the WBO2 voltage and converts is to an 8 bit number. The ADX file then computes and output base on the equation in the assigned channel. I edited the equation that was in "Innovate LC-1 (1-2V)" channel to match what my equation should be for 0-5V. I could be completely wrong here, so anyone, please correct me.

On ours, we're using the WB Raw Data as the input (rather than one of pre-selected O2's in the bit options). We use math to convert the raw data counts into a number that matches the WB output.

Re: Another WBO2 to Tunerpro data logging issue
If you edited this information then this should work, if you leave it then it should default to the proper equation for brand/type WB controller.
When you created the S_AUJP bin did you copy and paste all the hex data over to the new bin? This is what I did so this could be an issue, there is not much to mess up here as far as choices in TP.
Maybe just try a fresh S_AUP bin and just adjust some main parameters for your setup so it will run at idle for a few minutes, it should start showing data changes here in about 15 seconds. I tried with just key on and this does not appear to match the 20+ A/F until you actually start the vehicle then it will match the WB controller.

Re: Another WBO2 to Tunerpro data logging issue
I took the 52030_D.BIN and copied over my data using a hex editor. Maybe that is screwing it up? I'll do a straight edit of the 52030_D.BIN and see if that works. At one point I was using a modified S_AUJP bin that ULTM8Z sent me, but I could never get it to idle correctly (I think its a manual transmission issue). I didn't have the WBO2 hooked up to F14 at that time.

I would try a non copied bin. ULTM8Z's bin idled up and down for me also as he likely has it leaned out for a cam as I was seeing 15+ A/F at idle with his bin so it was likely a lean surge.

Re: Another WBO2 to Tunerpro data logging issue
Jackpot!!
I first tried the BIN that ULTM8Z sent me (based on suajp). I unchecked WB OPT2 b7 to select F14 pin. Then I selected WB OPT2 b0 for RAW A/D Output. I modified the conversion in both WB AFR (gauge) and WB (raw data) in the ADX. No sure if I needed the conversion in both.
Ive only tested at idle but the gauge looks like it’s matching the data log.
I’m not sure why copying my hex data doesn’t work, but this is a fix.
Thanks for all the help.

Nice! It must be something with copy and paste quick and easy is not so quick and easy!
