How times have changed editors/viewers

Back in 01 I ordered tuning equipment from Arizona speed and marine.
heres a look at aujp. Very confusing how to edit the bin. Not much support but a bulletin board lol.
soon after I went with tunercat.

Re: How times have changed editors/viewers

I started out by modding my Xfire along the line of what Grumpy had done. Then I found out I had to re-do the calibration. So I bought a 7747 from TBI something something(forget their name), rewired everything and found out you just don’t throw in a prom and voila! I came here to ThirdGen, started out w TunerCat. I still have my Technics laptop w MS-DOS, UV eraser and Needhams reader/programmer. I used EASE for datalogging.
Now I can be back on the road w a new calibration in the time it took me to erase a prom.

P.S. I just remembered the name of the place where I paid $300 for a 7747 and a nice set of wire crimpers.

Turbo City.

😂😂🤣🤣

Uv erasing is very time consuming. I still do some tbi but use new 2732a chips.
And only uv erase 27c256 to many failures when trying to reuse 27c128 for some reason.
thank you moates for bringing a flash chip into this hobby.

Tunerpro, Ostrich, flash chips, etc... the experts on this board, etc...

There's absolutely no freaking way in a 100 million years I'd have been able to get this tune the way it is without all these folks contributing so much to this hobby...

About like editing my 299 TBI ECMs $99 code back in the day. Basically a newer 7747.
